ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospitals are built on the foundation of critical care medicine. Our owner, Dr. Rich Mills, is a board-certified criticalist and his passion for emergency and critical care medicine can be seen in each one of our emergency rooms.

Our hospitals are training centers for this specialty and has the most board-certified critical care specialists in Southern California. Our specialists actively publish reference journal articles and lecture across the nation.
The Department of Critical Care often assists throughout the entire hospital when pets or other specialists are in need. Critical Care is a diverse specialty with the ability to perform emergent surgeries or manage some of the sickest patients. Our hospitals have full stat labs, MRI, fluroscopy, advanced imaging software, and state-of-the-art operating rooms available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to manage pets that are rapidly changing.
