Trusten Moore, DVM

ACCESS – SOUTH BAY

Dr. Trusten Moore was born and raised in North Mississippi and received his Bachelor’s of Science in Animal & Dairy Sciences at Mississippi State University. He then moved to Southern California to obtain his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine. While in veterinary school, Dr. Moore was highly active in organized veterinary medicine, where he lobbied for the profession at the capitol in Sacramento and Washington, DC. He was an active member in the House of Delegates for the California Veterinary Medical Association and held the national student presidential role for the National Student Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society.

After veterinary school, he completed a rotating small animal and surgery internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital.

Dr. Moore is highly passionate about emergency and critical care. His interests include polytrauma, anaphylaxis, septicemia, and cardiovascular disease.

When not in the hospital, Dr. Moore often advocates for the profession on his social media platform, where he has over 20k followers on his channels. He also spends his time creating music, whether it be singing, playing the piano, saxophone, or ukulele.
