Dr Tim Cashin, DVM

Dr. Tim Cashin grew up on the island of Newfoundland, Canada, where he earned his Bachelor of Science honors degree in Behavioral Neuroscience at the Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.

He also worked at the university in the Canine Research Unit lab which focuses on studying social interaction in wild and domestic canines.

Tim graduated with his DVM from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2015. After graduation, he spent time practicing in both general care and emergency medicine before committing fully to his passion of emergency and critical care medicine.

After two years of practicing full-time in busy emergency and specialty hospitals in British Columbia, Tim was very excited to join the team at ACCESS in sunny Los Angeles. Tim’s professional interests include trauma, cardiology, and respiratory problems.

When not at the veterinary hospital, Tim enjoys travel, hiking, running, ultimate frisbee, skiing, and taking pictures of his photogenic cat, Sprout.
