Phillip Mick, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM)

Dr. Phillip Mick was raised in the Pacific Northwest along the Olympic Peninsula. He majored in Neurobiology at the University of Washington, Seattle. He then attended veterinary school at the Washington State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school he moved to the beautiful Finger lakes region of New York for a rotating internship at Cornell University. Following his internship, he remained at Cornell where he completed a residency in small animal internal medicine.
Dr. Mick grew up with numerous pets and has always enjoyed being around animals for as long as he can remember and as a child, he wanted to become a Zoologist. His interest in Veterinary Medicine wasn’t solidified until he worked as a part-time kennel attendant and veterinary assistant while in undergrad.
Dr. Mick enjoys all aspects of Internal Medicine, but his primary interests include hepatology, gastroenterology, and endocrinology. He also has a growing interest in interventional urology.
Outside of work, you can find Phillip cycling, hiking, camping, and trying all the delicious food around LA.
