Nicole Guastamacchio, DVM
ACCESS – South Bay
Southern California native Dr. Nicole Guastamacchio graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Applied Science. She then decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian and help alleviate the pain and suffering of sick and injured animals.
She earned her Doctorate from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she went to work in a general veterinary practice, where she benefited from exceptional mentorship, extensive training, and skills development.
Before joining ACCESS, Dr. Guastamacchio worked at Newport Harbour Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian. She saw a variety of patients and cases, performed surgeries, complex dental extractions, ultrasound, and occasional endoscopy procedures.
Her professional interests include surgery, dentistry, and emergency care.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys working out, stand-up paddleboarding, singing, and spending time with her four cats and a dog.
