Molly Gleeson, DVM, DACZM

Dr. Molly Gleeson grew up here in Southern California.

She graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Following veterinary school, she completed a small animal rotating internship at VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona and an exotics internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston.

She then returned to UC Davis for her residency in Zoological Companion Animals and is a diplomate of the American College of Zoological Medicine.

Molly enjoys working with the wide variety of species that we see in the Avian & Exotics department and loves the ability to collaborate with multiple specialties at ACCESS to provide the best care for her patients.

During her residency, Molly published multiple scientific articles about exotic pet and wildlife medicine, and plans to continue to contribute to the scientific literature in this field. She has always had a love for animals, specifically exotic pets, but has also spent time working with multiple zoological institutions in California, like the California Raptor Center and the Marine Mammal Center.

Outside of the hospital, and away from work, Molly enjoys reading, jigsaw puzzles, dancing (especially Salsa dancing), and relaxing with her two cats and pet rabbit, Rabbit de Nearo.
