Melissa Moya, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM)

Dr. Melissa Moya is a board-certified Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist. She was born and raised in northern New Jersey, and from a very early age, she was determined to practice veterinary medicine.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences from Rutgers University, graduated magna cum laude from Tuskegee University Veterinary School in 2017, and completed a rotating internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey in 2018. She then went on to finish a 3-year internal medicine residency at Michigan State University and obtained board certification.
She is recently married, and besides spending time with her husband, two cats, and a dog, Dr. Moya enjoys reading, watching TV shows and movies, and occasionally playing video games. She also enjoys walks and hikes outdoors as well as indoor gardening.
Her professional interests include immunology, gastroenterology, and infectious diseases. She is looking forward to her new life in California and is excited to meet your adorable family members!
