Megan Stout Steele, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology)

Dr. Steele grew up in Central Pennsylvania, and did her undergraduate degree at the Pennsylvania State University before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.

Following graduation, Dr. Steele completed a small animal rotating internship at the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in Westboro, MA, and then a specialty neurology internship at the Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles.

In 2015, Megan completed her neurology residency at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. She worked at Animal Specialty Group as a neurologist until early 2017 when she moved to the Portland area to work at VCA North West Veterinary Specialists.

Her love for California has brought her back. Her special areas of interests include neurosurgery and Chiari-like malformation. In her spare time, Dr. Steele enjoys spending time with her dogs, goats, and riding horses.

Dr. Stout is based at the ACCESS Los Angeles Specialty Animal Hospital and is available Saturday to Tuesdays (Schedule varies).
