Li Lange, VMD
ACCESS – LOS ANGELES
Originally from Rhode Island, Dr. Li Lange went to the University of Rhode Island for her bachelor’s degree in animal and veterinary science. Toward the end of her undergraduate studies, she worked as a veterinary assistant at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists, where she first came to love emergency medicine and set her sights on pursuing a specialty in Emergency and Critical Care.
Dr. Lange earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she took the ECC rotation six times, ultimately earning the VECCS Proficiency Award.
To further pursue her goal of becoming a criticalist, she completed a rotating internship at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center. She then joined ACCESS as a staff doctor and Critical Care resident.
Her clinical interests include polytraumas and severe acid-base disturbances.
Outside work, she loves hiking, weightlifting, reading, and playing video games. She taught herself photography and photo editing to take pictures of her dogs, Kodiak and Delta. Her household also includes a grumpy cat named Noodles and a ball python Miso.
