Ketaki Karnik, DVM, MS, DACVR
ACCESS – Los Angeles
Dr. Ketaki Karnik received her DVM degree from the University of California Davis. She went on to complete a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital.
She then completed her residency and a Master’s degree at the Ohio State University, where she was awarded the ACVR Resident Research and Hospital Service awards.
Dr. Karnik worked at one of the largest specialty hospitals in the country as their sole radiologist for 7 years before joining Southern California Veterinary Imaging (which is now a Department of Radiology at ACCESS). She is also on the medical advisory board for the Los Angeles Zoo.
Dr. Karnik is a strong proponent of the human-animal bond and loves that, as a radiologist, she can help make a diagnosis to help both pets and their owners.
In her spare time, she loves traveling to remote regions of the world, running, and hanging out with her dog and best friend, Harrison.
