Jodi Kuntz, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM)
ACCESS – Los Angeles
Dr. Jodi Kuntz joined ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital, Los Angeles, after practicing at the two largest veterinary hospitals in New York City.
Before attending veterinary school, Jodi was on track to become a Human Rights Attorney, but followed her passion for compassion and animals to veterinary medicine.
She attended veterinary school at Ross University and Cornell, graduating magna cum laude before completing her residency at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. She has published and lectured on a variety of topics including interventional radiology, diseases of the liver and respiratory system, and the human-animal bond. Her professional interests include respiratory, hematologic and gastrointestinal diseases, urology and interventional radiology, and the management of endocrinopathies.
Before veterinary school, Jodi grew up in the Midwest and was raised by two wonderful hippy parents. She studied ballet and ended up touring with a band as a swing dancer while getting her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Political Science. She moved to the West Coast after graduating where she managed a youth hostel in Eugene, Oregon. During this time she was able to travel extensively throughout India, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Europe.
In her free time, Jodi loves to do anything that takes her outside. She is an avid runner, a mediocre gardener, and accomplished snuggler of her cat Coltrane, and a dog called Mazzy.
