Cecilia Kong, DVM
ACCESS – SAN FERNANDO VALLEY
Dr. Kong was born and raised in the beautiful city of Melbourne, Australia where she completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees at the University of Melbourne.
After graduating with her veterinary degree, she moved from small, quiet Melbourne to San Francisco, California, to complete a small animal rotating internship. She spent the year developing her veterinary skills, meeting lots of cuddly pit bulls, exploring the city, trying different types of food, and picking up the American accent.
After her internship, she moved south to Los Angeles to join the Emergency and Critical Care team as an emergency veterinary at ACCESS. She has also adopted a dog (Moo Moo) and a cat (Wombat) and spends her spare time hiking and going to the beach with her dog, being a tourist in LA, and trying out all the different types of food California has to offer!
