Callie Rich, DVM
ACCESS – Los Angeles
Dr. Callie Rich grew up in Southern California and majored in Animal Science with an emphasis in Veterinary Medicine at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She attended Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, with a focus on exotic animal medicine.
After veterinary school, Dr. Rich completed a small animal rotating internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey, followed by an avian and exotics internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston. She’s also completed exotic veterinary courses in Africa and Belize, and has spent time at various zoos across the country.
Outside of work, Callie enjoys reading, creative writing, staying in shape with karate and rock climbing, and sunbathing with her rosy boa.
