Brittany Kunz, DVM (practice limited to internal medicine)

ACCESS – South Bay

Dr. Brittany Kunz is a Southern California native who graduated from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine.

She completed a rotating internship at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center and an internal medicine specialty internship at VCA ASEC. Dr. Kunz then traveled across the country to complete her internal medicine residency at Cornell University.

Dr. Kunz first became interested in veterinary medicine when she was 5 years old growing up with Old English Sheepdogs. However, her passion for veterinary medicine was solidified in college after taking biology and conservation courses and later going on to volunteer at the Marine Mammal Care Center and working at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant and receptionist.

Dr. Kunz, although finds all aspects of medicine interesting, she has special interests in endocrinology, hepatology, and gastrointestinal disease.

Outside of work she enjoys being out on the water, traveling, playing soccer, and spending time with her family and her dog Oscar
