Brittany Kunz, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM)

ACCESS – South Bay

Dr. Brittany Kunz is a Southern California native who graduated from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a rotating internship at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center and an internal medicine specialty internship at VCA ASEC. Dr. Kunz then traveled across the country to complete her internal medicine residency at Cornell University.

Brittany first became interested in veterinary medicine as a five-year-old growing up with Old English Sheepdogs. However, she solidified her passion for veterinary medicine in college after taking biology and conservation courses and later volunteering at the Marine Mammal Care Center and working at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant and receptionist.

Although Dr. Kunz finds all aspects of medicine fascinating, she has particular interests in endocrinology, hepatology, and gastrointestinal disease.

Outside of work, she enjoys being out on the water, traveling, playing soccer, and spending time with her family and her dog Oscar.
