Avia Ben-Simon, DVM
ACCESS – South Bay
Avia Ben-Simon is from San Francisco and graduated with honors in 2020 from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine. During her time in veterinary school, she was actively involved in the California Veterinary Medical Association as a student delegate.
She completed a small animal rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital, where she gained additional training in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and surgery.
Dr. Ben-Simon is excited to join ACCESS – South Bay as an Urgent Care veterinarian and help grow and expand this new department.
During her spare time, Dr. Ben-Simon enjoys going on hikes, beach days, and spending time with her two cats, Garland and Thomas.
