Rebecca McQuitty, DVM
ACCESS – LOS ANGELES
Rebecca McQuitty grew up in Louisiana and originally moved to California to work in computer programming.
A strong desire to help animals and their owners drove her to attend veterinary school at the University of California, Davis, where she graduated in 2005. She completed a one-year rotating internship at Michigan State University, followed by a surgical internship at Dallas Veterinary Surgery Center.
She then gained experience as an emergency clinician in the Dallas area, where she discovered a strong interest in emergency and critical care. She came to ACCESS as a resident for further training in that area, at which she has excelled ever since.
Rebecca has a lab mix named Margot, cats named Davy and Audrey, and a love for hiking, skiing and just about anything else that happens outdoors.
